Valencia G. Wallace is a multi-genre, award-winning, bestselling author whose work is rooted in Louisiana life, lore, and legends.

She discovered writing as a refuge and release at a young age. The page became the one place where she could decide what happened next. Those early experiences shaped the emotional honesty that defines her work today.

Valencia's mother was a gifted poet whose life was marked by addiction, and loving someone the world doesn't understand taught Valencia that people cannot be reduced to a single moment or mistake. Her characters are rarely heroes or villains. They are relatable, human and flawed.
